About Shavita
My lifelong passion for Mathematics and problem-solving have not just allowed me to consistently excell in Maths and Add/Further Maths, but also earned me multiple awards in prestigious competitions like Kangaroo Maths, Maths Olympiad, and International UCMAS Abacus & Mental Arithmetic. Teaching allows me to share this passion, helping students not only succeed academically but also appreciate the fun and logic of mathematics and its ability to solve real world problems.

I begin each lesson with a brief recap of the previous session to ensure students have a solid understanding before diving into the day’s topic. Students will then practice targeted questions to apply what they’ve learned, followed by a Q&A session to address any doubts from the day’s lesson or previous homework. This structured approach ensures clarity, consistency, and confidence in mastering the concepts of Mathematics.

I’ve found that 1.5-hour lessons strike the perfect balance between productivity and focus, avoiding the rush of an hour or the fatigue of 2 hours. As for pricing, it will be based on the time duration per lesson, the urgency level and the grade of the student. However, I’m happy to discuss discounts if you form a group of 4-5 students for better affordability.
