About Gilie
I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with 9 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 150–200 students, helping them improve their understanding and confidence in Spanish.
My teaching philosophy is based on clear explanations and steady progress. I believe students learn best when lessons are simple and well-structured. I take time to explain grammar rules clearly and help students build strong vocabulary. I also focus on speaking and listening skills so students can use Spanish naturally in real-life situations.
One of my key achievements is helping students improve their academic results. Many students who initially struggled with Spanish have achieved better grades and increased confidence through regular practice and guidance. I also support students with homework, assignments, and exam preparation.
I create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help students enjoy learning Spanish while gaining skills that support their academic and future career goals.

I use creative techniques like dialogues, role plays, storytelling, and real-life examples. These activities help students understand Spanish naturally and apply it confidently in daily situations.
As a mentor, I guide students through grammar clearly, help them analyse sentence structures, and encourage critical thinking. I support independent learning and build students’ confidence in speaking and writing.
Accountability is maintained through goal setting, regular practice, and progress tracking. Students are encouraged to stay disciplined and responsible for their improvement.
In addition to Spanish, I teach related subjects such as vocabulary building, pronunciation skills, conversational Spanish, grammar basics, and cultural knowledge.
