About Francois
I am an Adelaide Central School of Art Honours Degree Graduate (2015). I have been the recipient of multiple grants and have undertaken multiple group, solo, and collaborative exhibitions.
I would like to develop a teaching base in order to increase my ability to pass on the experiences I have gained and thus enrich the lives of others.
I love working with the innate interests of an individual in a collaborative manner and drawing out their strengths and helping to spark their interest in art making.

I base my classes on a hands on learning approach, keeping in mind that the processes of artistic materials are learned by studio making. I enjoy teaching charcoal, ink and oil pastel drawing on paper, drawing from observation, portraiture, abstraction, experimental process drawing. I am also inclined towards working with unusual materials, particularly phosphorescent or luminscent pigments that glow under ultraviolet light.

Francois is a talented artist and a very friendly, honest, respectful, and caring teacher. As a teacher, above all, he is very kind, patient, and considerate, with a positive and uplifting attitude. Children are drawn to him and feel comfortable with him.
