About Cathy
"Computer science students often struggle with building real-world projects until they master clean code practices. I rely on my 12 years of experience to teach JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C++. Python is my primary language for teaching algorithmic thinking and object-oriented programming.
Solving complex problems on coding platforms is central to my methodology. Backend basics and APIs are essential components of my approach. I keep my focus sharp and my methods direct."

Coding together feels like a collaborative effort where we define logic through clean code practices and iterative testing. Because I hold an MSc Data Science from the University of Edinburgh, I integrate high-level algorithmic thinking into every stage of our work. We use a GitHub repo to track your progress and version control habits throughout the 12 years of my teaching career. I emphasise project-based learning to ensure you understand how systems function from the ground up while maintaining consistent flow as we debug issues together because it is essentially a quiet process of discovery.
