About Lily
I’m a 17-year-old high school student, so I’m not too far in age from those I tutor. I find that this makes students more comfortable around me, meaning they feel able to ask questions and get involved in the tasks I set with much more ease. Languages are complicated in that they contain certain abstract concepts that can be hard for young people to grasp, but I find that through my way of tutoring which involves introducing elements of fun with interactive activities, the subject matter becomes much more memorable and easier to digest.

I work alongside young students with different learning skills so I understand which techniques and ways of learning need to be employed to achieve the best learning experience and outcome. A typical lesson involves both practical and discussion elements to ensure students are understanding and engaged with the material.
