"Actually, I started teaching simply because I wanted to see others grasp the mechanics of the fretboard. My MMus Voice degree from Guildhall gave me a deep understanding of musicality that applies perfectly to guitar fretwork. Having 13 years of experience allows me to break down complex theory into manageable steps for serious guitarists.
I focus on lead guitar, improvisation, and nuanced soloing techniques. Reading sheet music and mastering barre chords are standard parts of my curriculum.
Ear training and proper acoustic technique form the backbone of my instruction. We also look at songwriting and consistent instrument maintenance. I know how to prepare grade exam candidates for success. My goal is to get you comfortable with the neck and ready for your next performance."
