About Fami
- What kind of experience do you have?
Over 20 years of teaching experience at music conservatoires, music schools, independent schools and privately.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Yes I have a full CRB certificate.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I trained at the Music Conservatoire in Spain, where at an early age and I obtained a BMus diploma. After, I trained at the a Royal College of Music and I gained a BMus, MMus and PGDip Diploma and studied with professor Yonty Solomon and Andrew Ball.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
My students are very motivated and they look forward for every lesson, they have learnt discipline and developed a good sense of musicality. They learn a very wide programme, including many technical etudes and pieces from every style and composer. They don't just learn the poor ABRSM syllabus, which narrows the huge piano repertoire.

Advanced piano tuition in Weybridge with an international concert pianist, supporting students from beginner to Diploma level and beyond, and fostering confident, expressive musicianship
I am a concert pianist and teacher with over 20 years of experience. I graduated from the Royal College of Music in London, where I was awarded a Master of Music in Advanced Performance, a Postgraduate Diploma, and a Bachelor of Music. I perform internationally as part of the Amadeus Piano Duo, alongside pianist Sharon Barnea, and bring this professional performance experience directly into my teaching.
Advanced & Diploma-Level Specialist
I specialise in working with advanced students, including those preparing for Diplomas (ARSM, DipABRSM, LRSM, FRSM) and conservatoire auditions. I also welcome students of all ages and abilities. My teaching focuses on developing a deep understanding of the musical text—exploring the score to uncover the composer’s intent, refining musical sensitivity, and building a secure, healthy technique to support expressive playing.
Strong Foundations for Beginners
Alongside my work with advanced pianists, I greatly enjoy teaching young beginners. I believe that a strong foundation from the very first lesson is essential. By encouraging musical awareness from the outset, I help students develop sound technical habits and a lasting sense of curiosity and enjoyment in music.
