About Olivia
I am currently an aerospace engineering student that has been tutoring maths and the sciences for almost 3 years. As I am still in education it keeps my knowledge fresh and up to date with new theories! I have tutored pupils from primary school up to sixth form so I have a wide range of skills that cater towards different age groups. I have also had experience tutoring pupils with difficulty when it comes to learning so I am able to apply a new approach that suits their needs.

My classes often begin with a quick reminder of what we had studied in the previous session, we then go on to look at key areas where the student may feel they are falling behind in. Together we look though the theory behind each topic and try to understand what the maths/science is telling us. To help grasp each concept I like to end our session by looking through past exam questions so the student can learn to use and adapt their knowledge when it comes to taking an exam.

Olivia is superb with children. After my son was struggling with GCSE maths we approched her and discussed his attitude to learning was compromised. With no hesitation Olivia sat with him and ran through the his capabilities to asses his depth of knowledge. Im pleased to say within 4 months of tutoring his grades improved significantly and has now been able to devlop his skills onto A level. We have happily employed Olivia again to support him in his next levels. Thank you for making the experience relaxed and enjoyable for him.
