About Emily
Emily Tam is a pianist and educator based in Toronto with over 6 years experience teaching students of all skill levels. She completed her degree in Music Education from the University of Toronto under Tanya Tkachenko, and has been the recipient of multiple awards and scholarships including the 2021 University of Toronto Student Leadership Award, and Arthur Plettner Scholarship awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding musical and academic achievement. Emily believes that everyone has the potential to learn music, and her aim is to create a positive and safe learning environment that is tailored to each student’s own unique abilities, interests, and goals.
