About Alexander
Alexander G. Hernandez, MBA, holds his MBA from Florida State University (FSU) where he graduated Cum Laude. He also holds two bachelor’s degrees from Florida International University (FIU) in the fields of Political Science and International Relations. His graduate concentrations were marketing and international business. His undergraduate concentrations were business, philosophy, and conflict security. He is also published by FIU for his research on the Burmese Civil War. Mr. Hernandez has managed business portfolios of over $100 million in sales earnings, and has conducted business with colleagues and customers from over 30 different countries. He is fluent in Spanish, and basic Portuguese. He also holds a rank of blue belt in Brazilian jiujitsu and enjoys hip-hop and volunteer work.

With so many profs to pick from, thanks for dropping by! I’m Alex, and I’ll teach you international business! Not only do I hold an advanced degree in business administration, but I carry plenty of real world experience. I ran Mars Wrigley’s full travel retail portfolio for all of the Americas based out of both Miami and Amsterdam. I’ve also managed an $100 million dollar distribution business for Samsung Electronics in Latin America, and even had some time to literally get my hands dirty and dig wells in rural Africa’s most vulnerable communities. My focus areas are international business strategy, negotiations, brand development, and relationship management. I can help you pass exams, but can just as comfortably sit with you and tell you what it’s really like to have travelled the world and conducted business with colleagues and customers from over 30 countries.
