About Alf
I love teaching, but I feel the politics and excess student numbers, with unqualified teachers in schools, just working for their 3rd investment property, neglects the very real needs of students and their development in a complex designed society today. The nature of schools, makes it impossible for schools, to effectively develop student skills effectively, apart from individual tutoring and mentoring.
I have helped students and colleagues develop deep skills, In design ideation, 2d graphics and 3D models in CAD, timber forms, moulding, for about 20 years.

I strongly believe in student intrinsic motivation, future vision and continuous improvement. While I believe the skills you learn in Art, Design and Technology are lifelong skills. I will find your learning gaps and help you fill them, with my wide knowledge base and skills. I have software and workshop to facilitate your learning and project needs,for school assessment or university folio, or help support your projects when stuck, with lateral creative and functional solutions.
