I teach to use professional softwares not only technically but especially to develop own creativity. I can learn to create strong communicative poster, brochure or folder; and also how to create a company identity. You can learn how to layout a book or every publishing product. I am a lovely, patient and polite person who loves her own job. Excellent communications and teaching skills.
I tailor all sessions to the requirements of the student/organisation, I am happy to come into offices to deliver training on branding, design and creativity to design and marketing team members for example. I also work with students wanting to develop their creative career, or add to their skills.
I can provide practical, hands-on training in all aspects of the design process. Rather than just focus on software functionality without context, I prefer to use a 'live' project (whether a student brief, professional scenario, or personal project) and teach the relevant skills to complete your desired outcome.
I graduated in July 2016 with a 1st class honours in BA Graphic Design visual communication and illustration. I concentrate on helping to develop and improve students technical skills, ensuring enjoyment while learning and achieving higher predicted grades.
Having taught Photoshop at college, I'm fully aware that some pick up things far quicker than others, however, I'm one who makes sure that everyone is taken care of and no one gets left out. I want to teach everyone the qualities of being a competent and exciting designer.
I am passionate about teaching and assisting a motivated student in achieving their academic goals. I obtained a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton. During my studies, I conducted personal training for colleagues and juniors alike I love passing my experience and knowledge in mathematics, programming, networking etc.
My teaching method is learner oriented exercise based and tend to help learner in step wise solutions. I give lessons to undergraduate and A level Math students but can assist any level of Math easily. I am very keen and enthusiastic to help my students.
I base my classes on developing strong fundamentals and then allowing the students creative license to take that knowledge and explore with it. I have found that the greatest learning one can do is by trying to make something and figuring things out, not heavily structured lessons.
My lessons are structured: 1) An outline of how a creative brief will arrive at the designer, how to understand the requirements and the best approach to provide a creative answer to that brief. 2) Practical lessons based on real-world client briefs covering press, brochures, posters etc.
One part of the learning is technical, learning how to use proficiently the Adobe Suite then it is to learn how to balance and compose with harmony and professionalism. Then depending on the student's wishes, we will focus on their preferred route.
I try to keep everything fairly informal and I create a series of lessons where students can work at their own pace, with plenty of help and guidance along the way. If the students wish, I can deal with specific areas instead if they already know the basics.
I usually take my students in my spare time and in which I see the potential for growth and teach them in a free style. In the beginning, I test the student's level, then lessons strucuture is a questions and answers.
I am currently leacturing at university on the fashion design degree. I would love to use my 15 years experience in the field to teach A level students and BA students.
I like to find out what understanding a student has of the subject and help them to find passion in their studies. Graphic Design is ever changing with technology, I like to encourage students to think out of the box.
I tailor each class to the specific needs of the individual that I am teaching. I aim for the classes to be as productive as they possibly can by finding out your intentions and what it is that you would like to achieve.
Im a Freelance senior apparel designer with over 13 years using illustrator day to day since version 10. I have a degree in interactive media. I have taught many junior designers how to use illustrator and some of its more interesting time saving tools.
My methodology is to do 1 hr slots for understanding each software and help to slowly build you from there on. I will then set design tasks for the next upcoming lesson and help you create your own future brand ...
I like to teach with practice, developing projects according to the age of the students. I always teach theory because we must know the why of everything, but I like it more than they learn by doing. The current world likes to see what you do not only what you know.
I have a thorough knowledge of Adobe creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
I am a relaxed person, who sees the power of details. I know for sure that you need to have only a curious mind to learn anything. My teaching method is solely based on opening the student's eyes to the possibilities they can do with just a few clicks of a button.
Hi! My name is Maria, and I am a friendly Graphic and Media Designer with more than 7 years of professional experience. I provide lectures in Graphic Design, Illustration, User Experience and Fine Art Basics, teaching those who are completely new to this role, or expanding your knowledge if you already work in Graphic Design or similar industry.
I listen. Formed around a subject, there will usually be key or foundational areas that need to be learnt. However, when someone wants to learn something their questions will lead the direction of study and progress will always be made this way.
Design is a hands-on business, so we will work on a fictional company but apply real-world thinking and processes to begin to fully understand the necessary tools, techniques and processes necessary to deliver a professional solution. I can also focus on specific software, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, if required.
My teaching method is based on my own experience in Illustration and Design as well as my professional career. So I will teach basics to more in depth skills in Typography, Layout, Illustration, Photo Editing, Packaging Design, Social Media Design and Branding.
Learning by making. Setting projects and making along side my students as they become confident in a number of design tools and software. We will examine principles of design, typography and layout. This covers Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and basic animation in After Effects.
I teach in groups or conduct one on one classes approaching each topic with the basics and then moving on to the details. At the end of the week depending on the number of classes the students will compile a bigger picture using the skills they have been taught during the week.
My teaching method is with a project at hand and plan how to deliver in best way as possible so that it is problem free for the next stage. My experience and knowledge of Apple Mac technical information helps a great deal to understand any basic problems which do occur in day to day job to gain confidence.
An ex-lecturer in graphic design and computer graphics, with strong slant towards marketing and self promotion, up to degree level. Teaching is structured to suit individual needs and subject requirements. As a lecturer, I believe in breaking things down to basic level to ensure understanding takes place...and also encourage learners to experiment and explore software possibilities.
Custom built Modules the real basics to intermidiate. Training material, Links, custom tools, and perhaps some video aswell, but i have to say im not very good when it comes to being on camera. For a great cause i would though.
