About Alison
The maths and English programmes are tried and tested, having been started over 50 years ago. They help improve maths and English skills but also develop confidence, concentration, self-study skills and independence.

- Classes
Students drop in to class during the class opening hours for about 30 minutes per subject studied, once or twice a week. They work on their own individual development plan. The programmes complement the national curriculum developing maths and English skills from the very basics all the way up to about university level. Students work through the programmes at their own pace and progress is linked to development of ability rather than to age. This makes it suitable for children requiring additional support as well as for those requiring additional challenge. Many of our students study above school level as the programme encourages development of potential.
