About Grant
Hi! I am a recent graduate of Loughborough University and I have been playing tennis since I was 6! I played at a national level as a Junior and transitioned to playing for the university team until I graduated in 2024.
So... there are over 100+ coaches on this website. What makes me different? I provide a unique blend between improvement and fun, catered to your aims. Everyone plays tennis for a different reason and we all have different goals in sport. Don't settle for a coach that only does things the old-fashioned way.

The typical lesson length is between 60-90 minutes. I am always interested listen to what you want to improve and work on. Two-way communication is best way to learn!
For beginners. I will start with the basics and fundamentals. I have 2 years of coaching with experience coaching beginners and kids, helping them grow to become intermediate-level players!
For intermediate players, learning about attacking the net, slices and high-percentage tennis is essential to taking your game to the next level. No more staying at baseline and just hitting back!
For advanced players, I aim to teach not only technique but also reasoning; understanding why you do certain actions. While being your hitting partner, I will put you in high-pressure situations to practice game sense.

I am based in Southwark Park tennis courts ((concealed information) Individual session fee: £35 In pairs: £25 per person. Court booking fee is not included in the session fee. Must be paid through direct bank transfer and the session fee has to be paid in advance. CANCELLATION POLICY: Session fee is 100% non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours. In the event of bad weather, the session fee is refunded or open to reschedule.
