I believe in the younger years learning is all about understanding and memorizing the foundational material in order for the student to become independent and creative with their ideas. In my personal experience, I was a student that needed to understand in order to achieve and am very much someone who isn't naturally gifted but rather has done through this method of returning to the basics. In terms of my methodology for teaching, my approach would be to help your child understand these things so they feel confident to combat any question or problem they may come across instead of merely regurgitating preformulated answers.
I am a History of Art student in my penultimate year at UCL. I am an all-around achiever, having achieved all A-A* grades in all my GCSEs and A-levels (Maths, Science, English, History, Art, Drama, History of Art, Religious Education). I also attended Central Saint Martins where I completed a foundation in Art and Design and Chelsea College of Art, where I completed a foundation in Textile Design. I have experience in tutoring on a casual basis to friends and family and throughout school, I was a peer mentor to younger students. I specialize in History subjects although wouldn't oppose to helping with any others that I have mentioned.

UCL provides a rigorous, rich research based art history course which develops skills in analytical and critical thinking of historical and contemporary art, and visual culture through reading, writing, and public speaking.
I have also taken optional Philosophy modules to richen my study.
2015- 2016 Chelsea College of Art - BA Textile Design (Incomplete)
Anxious that I wasn’t been challenged enough intellectually I made the decision to leave my Textile Design degree as I believed my creativity ability extended further than just production and I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to confine myself to this solely. Within this first year I completed a Textile Foundation specialising in digital print design and with this, developed proficient skills in photoshop.
