About Joshua
I came to university to study jazz piano but have pivoted completely towards saxophone and woodwind after falling in love with the Tenor. Having only started my study in Covid's Lockdown, I believe anybody can learn the saxophone if they really try :) Now, my dream is to travel the world as a performer on a cruise liner, and eventually return to teach and share the beauty of the saxophone with my peers. I love jazz, funk, but also rock and metal (thanks to my parents) which is where my love for music came from in the first place.

With face-to-face saxophone teaching, I can identify and direct students personally to catch bad habits early and steer them towards professionalism. With many years of experience in orchestras, big bands, jazz bands, function bands, and pit bands, I have a breadth of knowledge for the aspiring saxophonist. Lessons for any age and experience! :)
