About Chris
I've been teaching privately for almost 5 years. In that time, I've probably taught close to 100 students.
Before that, I worked as an Account Manager in NYC for 6 years where I managed accounts involving legal documents for litigation law firms. This helped me to develop strong people skills and I believe it actually strengthened my ability to teach.

My name is Chris and I've been playing music for most of my life.
The best lesson that I've personally learned is that a musician is never done learning. Once you start believing that you know everything there is to know about your instrument then you've stopped growing musically. Personally, I've also learned that I enjoy sharing my knowledge of music with others and exposing students to new techniques and concepts.
I strongly believe that these traits are the most important aspects of teaching music to others. No matter how advanced my playing skills might progress, I’ll always be able to relate to any type of student because I’m still learning something new everyday!
