I'm freshly graduated for the IMEP Paris College Of Music (previously known as the American School Of Modern Music) where I learned Jazz, music theory, arrangement, composition and how to conduct an orchestra. I used to teach guitar and music reading and theory in France. I adapt to my students and give them the best advices and tips for the goals that they want to reach.
I aim for a good balance between intense technique work, great repertoire and joyful playing. I believe that with patience and consistency everyone can be a good musician, and I suppose my students in achieving that.
Your tutor is a determining factor in your success, it sounds obvious but how much effort is put into understanding what you like, how you learn and what you need to do to get where you want is essential, which is why I design a programme specifically for you, for what you want: to play for fun, play in a band, learn to write songs, become professional one day or simply have fun strumming away in...
My teaching method is dependent on the students level of playing. If they already have the basics then we will work through Grade or song books to challenge their playing. If the student is starting from scratch then before that we'll spend time working on chord progressions and scales.
My opinion is that every student is different. Everyone needs to be approached in a unique way and has different goals to achieve. My method is to find out precisely what the student's needs are and customise the curriculum according to that.
I start with the practical. The theory I ease in gradually. My methods are hands on and the student is playing the instrument from Lesson 1. My repertoire consists of music from the 50's to the present day as well as originals if required.
I like to teach my students in a way that allows them to learn the technique and principles of the guitar, but also gives them the knowledge and training to be creative and create their own music as well as learning other songs. My lessons are based around building a solid foundation of knowledge, whilst having fun and encouraging creativity.
I give my lessons to anyone looking for 1-1 tuition. I work in the method of 'you need to work hard to where you want to be in life'. I also teach Figurenotes witch is a music reading software.
Music is wonderful to add to the atmosphere of a party, event or even a quiet night at home. Learning how to sing or play an instrument can do wonders is a remarkable skill in life whether you want it for professional reasons or for your own pleasure I am a graduate of a music school back in my home country of Lithuania and I have been tutoring people of all ages ever since I was studying.
My teaching method is very practical as i am self taught only basic theory is needed you will always be on the guitar having fun! I will teach you the basic structure of a guitar then I will go through the essential chords that are in most r&b, soul, blues and rock songs i then will teach you rhythm and strumming patterns and how you can apply it to nearly any song after you have learnt the...
I believe strongly that music lessons should be fun! That doesn't mean you don't have to work hard, but once you have learned the basic techniques it is important that you play the music you like.
My teaching method is to try and work with a student to help them achieve what they want to achieve. I will not prescribe my own musical method and exercise to others, but will instead try to make constructive suggestions based upon what a student's goal is.
Hi! My name is Tom Murrill and I run 'Smart Academy' at 'Smart Studio' Smart Academy is a private tuition service that not only offers beginner to advanced level lessons in electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, keyboard/piano and drums.. but also in writing and recording! Smart Academy is open to anyone of any age and experience level.
I approach my guitar teaching through a nationally recognised syllabus, providing excellent structure to students' learning. This will encompass chord playing, improvisation and general musicianship. I also teach a variety of repertoire appropriate to the tastes of each individual student.
My Home Address is disclosed to Genuine Lesson Inquiries only. The majority of my Tutoring has been done on a One to One Basis, each lesson structure is tailored to the Individual. Some require a strict schedule I.E they wish to learn a specific piece of Music or wish to learn to master the Instrument, Chords, Scales and the Music Theory that goes with it.
I approach each student differently according to the needs and interests of my student. I try to incorporate technique and theory in a fun way for each lesson. I teach students from 11-18 years old and would consider beginner adults prior to discussion.
*** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR SINGER/SONGWRITERS *** I teach from a theoretical (simplified) angle for beginners or can jump straight into shapes and patterns for those who are intermediate and are either stuck or want to polish up their playing. Call it guitar for 'dummies' if you will.
My lessons are full of positive vibes, fun and laugh. If we do what we enjoy we enjoy will pay off with great results this is why we are going to make our lesson the best time of the day and something you are going to look forward to.
Hands-on and practical tuition........you won't be bored! I offer standard guitar lessons but can also incorporate other aspects of guitar playing into the lessons. How to achieve a great guitar sound, recording and producing guitars etc. Come and learn.
My teacher at the time, Dagmara Kezbere used an old St.Petersburg russian violist school approach, which develops student's musicality as well as technique. I am friendly, creative, responsible and very well organised teacher who is passionate about sharing knowledge.
I tailor lessons to the students' needs and interests you can choose from any of these subjects - Instrumental Techniques (beginner to advanced/virtuoso level) - Music Theory (scales, chords, arpeggios, improvisation, composition, etc...
My lessons involve me asking first - What do you want to achieve? Rather than the textbook approach of throwing classical pieces at youngsters and boring chord sheets at students who want to learn metallica solos, I like to think that the aims, goals and ambitions of the player are the most key aspect to look at before anything else.
In my experience teaching students must be able to understand four key concepts; 1. How to Play - how to physically play the guitar, the techniques involved and how to make the correct sounds with it 2. How to Understand - How to make the connection between the sounds you make and the music theory so that you can use them both to help you make better music 3.
I will simply get you playing guitar as quickly as you want. I feel the best way is learning the songs that you love. In a song there is music theory, scales, techniques, chord sequences etc all vital to the learning of the guitar. By learning the songs you will be harnessing and developing these skills without even realising it.
I aim to teach beginner guitarists with passion for music, I can adjust my teaching method based on what you want to learn, I can offer a lot of practical approach, teach note reading, explain chords structure and playing your favourite songs!
My teaching method refelcts my own experiences in education, I've had several great teachers that were extremely positive, thorough and focussed on an individual's strengths. I place alot of emphasis on fretboard geography and different techniques to open up many different musical options and get the most out of the instrument.
To get the most out of our time together you must first ask yourself - What do you want to achieve? As opposed to the rather old school approach of throwing classical notation at younger students who want to become the next Hendrix, I like to think that the aims, goals and desired outcome of the student are the most vital aspect to determine before anything else.
There is no such thing as a definite approach. Andrea's approach is personalised to the needs of each student, based upon the following key factors: Age, Capabilities, Hours available for the student to practice at home, and the student's goals. It is not a secret among musicians that talent would be only the 10% of the whole, whilst the rest 90% is derived from student's systematic practice.
Depending on ability, or unless you want to learn something specific, it’s about enjoyment in playing, it's about keeping you motivated to carry on, I don't teach grades, i prefer to keep it more fun, learn your favourite songs first, then slowly introduce theory into the mix.
Whether you're picking up a guitar for the first time or are a fully fledged guitar slinger, my adaptable guitar lessons will help take your playing to the next level.
