About Kimberley
I am an English and Comparative Literature student at the University of St Andrew's. I have been tutoring for over two years, specifically for Scottish Highers. Because of my Chinese background I particularly like to help people whose first language is not English.

As English is mainly essay based, I believe that the most efficient way to learn is through discussion. To talk about themes and structures is the best way to build up an argument and more importantly to get invested in literature. I like to give my students practice in writing and practice analysis as this allows me to improve their essay skills. On top of this I like to correct grammar so that my students' literary levels can be used beyond their educational sphere.
