About Michael
I have been working in the Animation Industry for over 10 years for shows such as Adventure time, Clarence and Futurama from my home office in Clovis, Ca. I understand the struggle it is to get a quality education that teaches you industry knowledge here in the valley, due to all the studios being down south. This is why I have been teaching workshops here in town and mentoring students, giving them the knowledge professionally and artistically on how to approach a career in animation. However these drawing techniques I teach you will work across any medium or any art style. The students I work with are improving at a fast rate and are having a lot of fun learning.

I will teach you how to approach complex subjects such as the human body, anatomy and portraiture and how to simplify them in your mind by teaching techniques that helped me throughout my Artistic journey. Animation is all about studying and simplifying life, but you cannot simplify what you don't understand. So in our lessons we will approach drawing from a classical approach that the old masters took and I will show you how that applies to designing your own characters or environments that work for Animation. Worksheets and materials will all be provided. Be prepared to draw draw draw.
