About Suhayb
Welcome! This is Suhayb - a high school graduate with an ATAR of 91.90. I like to tutor using trailblazing, scientific teaching techniques to transform your average, rote school curriculum to an enlightening, memorable learning journey. Just a singular example of some advanced learning techniques is beginning each concept with real-world applications ("why" it is to be learnt). Yet another unique method is to supplement lessons with engaging, visual online resources to aid understanding and knowledge retention. I tutor high-school QCE students in the following scientific subjects: math methods, physics, and chemistry.

Schools teach you "what" to think. Not "how" to think.
Oftentimes, textbooks present subject matter as abstract, theoretical formulae and concepts to be "memorized" for examinations. Yet, in stark contrast, the wise philosophers who have mentored leaders would emphasize and foster "scientific thought": teaching pupils "how" to think. Consequently, my unconventional tutoring methodology is centered on real-world applications: linking intricate concepts to simple, engaging real life examples to help students remember and understand them thoroughly. And since this enjoyable pursuit of knowledge extends beyond the classroom, I can supplement lessons with a plethora of fun, informative online resources for the students' self-directed exploration.
Each daily lesson can be a maximum of 2 hours, with incorporated breaks. Fees rate is $60 per hour.
