About Isabella
I'm a gap year student with a place at Cardiff Medical School with A*, A*, A at A level and all nines in my taught subjects at GCSE.
Having tutored both GCSE and AS level students at my previous secondary school I feel confident to tutor any level of student, whether you want to pass your subject or if you want to achieve the highest grades.
I have a passion for the sciences and geography and hope to instil into my students a genuine curiosity and excitement about their subjects.

I build upon what the student already knows and encourage them to ask questions and become curious about the subject! Using visual learning and active recall methods are great ways to solidify knowledge. However, I am more than willing to adapt my teaching technique to any student, since we all learn differently. I ensure the student knows the big picture first and then focus on the details. Having recently done GCSE's and A levels I am very familiar with the exam specifications for both and will encourage my students to become accustomed to exam questions early on.
Most importantly, I want my students to feel able to ask as many questions as possible no matter how small!
