About Lucie

Hi, I’m a qualified A-Level Biology teacher with 10+ years of experience in teaching and private tuition specialising in the AQA specification. I help students improve exam performance, particularly with Paper 3 essays, by providing clear, examiner-style feedback.

Many students know the content but struggle to structure answers to maximise marks. I provide detailed marking, practical improvement tips, and guidance on reaching higher grades, all delivered remotely and flexibly.

This service is ideal for AQA Biology students aiming for B → A/A*, struggling with essay structure, or wanting extra exam-focused support.

Outside teaching, I’m a mum to two young boys and a 10-year-old Jack Russell. I enjoy reading and baking with my sons, so I understand the need for flexible support that fits around busy family life.

About the lesson

I am an experienced A-level Biology teacher (10+ years) specialising in AQA curriculum, with years of classroom and exam-marking experience. I help students excel in Paper 3 essays and long-answer questions by providing exam-style feedback, practical tips, and clear guidance on how to maximise marks.

What I offer:

- Detailed marking of AQA Biology essays
- Written, structured feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and how to improve
- Tips on exam technique and synoptic connections
- Optional follow-up discussion to clarify points and answer questions

Why it works:
Students often struggle to translate their knowledge into the precise style AQA examiners look for. I guide them to write clear, concise, and high-scoring essays, helping them improve grades and confidence.

Format & flexibility:

Work is done remotely — students submit essays by email, I return marked feedback within 48 hours

Ideal for students who want focused support without needing scheduled live lessons

Evening availability fits around busy family schedules

Who it’s for:

AQA A-level Biology students preparing for Paper 3 essays

Students aiming to move from a B → A/A*

Those seeking structured, examiner-informed feedback rather than generic tutoring
