About Nadia
Nadia Piechestein is a Sustainable Fashion Designer from Latinamerica based in East London. She has been reworking clothes since she was 14 years old, learning from her mother and grand-mother bringing it to her profesional precess. She works with her brand TLZ in Theatre, Dancing and Fashion collaborating with a sustainable approach. The workshops she gives are all about how to make clothes last longer.

Transform your garments learning new skills with seamstress Nadia
Are you looking for a space to create and open your mind to make exiting things with your hands?
Unleash your creativity and transform ordinary garments into extraordinary works of art with Nadia. Join the talented fashion designer, for an immersive 2-hour session where you'll dive into the world of sustainable fashion and breathe new life into your clothes.
At the workshop, Nadia will introduce you to her brand and the core values driving her work in the fashion industry, with a strong focus on sustainability. Get hands-on experience with the tools of the trade, including the sewing machine, as you embark on your upcycling journey.
Together, you'll examine your garment, explore its style and potential, and decide on a unique design that reflects your personal taste. With a wide range of vibrant embroidery options at your disposal, customise your piece with colours and sizes that resonate with you. All materials used, including the dead stock and offcuts, are provided as part of the workshop.
Bring your design to life by creating a layout on your garment using scissors and your own hands. Learn the art of hand sewing, guided by Nadia's expertise, to ensure your fabric creations are securely and beautifully attached.
Once your masterpiece is taking shape, it's time to sew and stitch, combining creativity and craftsmanship. As you work, indulge in refreshing tea and coffee, providing the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow participants and immerse yourself in the creative atmosphere.
This workshop is a celebration of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, breathing new life into old garments and creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Be amazed at how a simple top can be transformed into a remarkable work of wearable art.
