About Yong
Having spent 6 years working across diverse musical landscapes, I approach piano instruction from a concept-first foundation. My training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama informs every technical adjustment I suggest for posture and hand position. Piano is a complex language. Do you struggle with sight reading or ear training when preparing for grade exams?

"Honestly, I admit that the path towards technical fluency requires a disciplined focus on sight transposition and accompaniment skills. My 6 years of teaching allow me to break these abstract concepts into manageable steps.
I hold an 8.0 rating based on my results. It is rewarding to see pupils progress through a monthly tracker. I enjoy seeing students finally grasp the logic behind the notes, which gives me great satisfaction as a teacher."
