About Ky
I am an 8 year veteran of teaching Math, Science, and STEM to 7th and 8th graders. I have worked with a diverse range of students over the past 8 plus years. My teaching career has sent me to a few different positions where I've been able to stretch my teaching skills, background, and interests.
Beyond just the academics, I am big believer of teaching students some powerful habits / values when possible. I want my students to see the value of having a growth mindset, having integrity, and being organized.
My desire is to always serve my students with what they are seeking out and try to go above and beyond where I can. If I can't for some reason, I will make sure to direct them to someone who can.

I love to have students explore topics themselves before I jump in and guide them through skills that are new to them. I typically like to provide activities that students try themselves. As they problem solve through the activity, I jump in where they need support.
I am an 8 year veteran of teaching Math, Science, and STEM to 7th and 8th graders. These Math, Science, and STEM lessons are designed to propel my students forward in their problem solving, scientific, and engineering skills. These lessons would be for students seeking to increase their skills in these areas.
Lesson and instruction are best suited for 5th - 8th graders (10-14 year olds) in the United States, but could be extended to others.
