About Ourania
I have a master degree of Visual Arts from the Universität der Künste, Berlin and graduated as well as a certified Subject Teacher for Waldorf Education in Middle and High School at the Seminar für Waldorf Pädagogik in Berlin.
For the last decade I have been living in NYC and teaching Art, Art History and German to student populations in public and private school settings.

While exploring art with a professional artist in mix media, you also get to experience and connect your art activities with language acquisition.
My teaching technique is grounded in Waldorf education and continouus development training for Multi Language Learners and Social Emotional Learning.
A typical lesson includes an introduction to the project, a demonstration, your work time and reflection about the lesson. I offer individualised lessons for beginners of German and English to advanced students.
