About Suzanne
I am a landscape painter and qualified teacher with a BA Hons degree and an MA in Art, Craft and Design Education. I have over 20 years of experience teaching, at both primary and secondary level, in schools, and I run classes for adults too. I have successfully prepared many pupils for GCSE and A-level and have helped prep school children gain scholarship awards to top senior schools.

I can help pupils improve their art portfolios, for GCSE/A-level/scholarship, by firstly identifying gaps, be it in artist research, experimentation with media, development of ideas or observational drawing. I then introduce them to further artist inspiration, media and techniques and help them find new directions for their work. Some pupils may just want to do art for fun and I can help all children to get creative and exceed their artistic expectations. They will be introduced to a wide variety of art materials, learn about famous artists and start to grow into their own style. I also offer landscape courses for adults, starting with tonal studies, then mixed-media experimentation for recording ideas before moving onto finished landscape paintings in mixed-media, acrylic and oils.
