About Geraldine
"Teaching French offers me a chance to apply the same rigour I once used in the music studio. It is a quiet truth that language acquisition depends more on HABITUAL PRACTICE than raw talent.
After 8 years of teaching, I understand how to break down pronunciation, accent and intonation, and complex idioms and expressions. My background as an artist informs how I teach reading comprehension and listening practice. I guide beginners through everyday phrases while supporting advanced learners with exam preparation for DELF and DALF.
We will also engage in role play and dialogue practice to sharpen your vocabulary building. I look forward to helping you reach your specific language goals."

"Vague grammar explanations cause unnecessary confusion for most language learners. Confusion stops here. I draw on 8 years of experience to deliver 10 minutes of targeted speaking practice at the start of every session. We will focus on interview preparation and complex idioms to ensure you sound natural.
My approach is strictly methodical. You will receive direct corrections on your accent and intonation during our dialogue practice. I make sure our work remains consistent and grounded in practical usage.
We will track your improvement by reviewing your progress in reading comprehension and vocabulary building each time. I promise to keep our lessons structured and efficient."
