About Elsie
I am a passionate piano tutor with 14 years of teaching and professional experience, dedicated to helping students of all levels grow musically. I teach school and college students, guiding them from basic lessons to confident performances.
One of my proudest milestones has been seeing students develop not only their skills but also their confidence and love for music. I focus on proper technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and musical expression while keeping lessons enjoyable and motivating.
My goal is to inspire students to practise consistently, think creatively, and enjoy piano as a lifelong skill.

My piano teaching methodology is inspiring and student-friendly, guided by motivation, communication, integrity, and creativity. I design lessons that match each student’s level, learning speed, and musical interests so learning feels comfortable and enjoyable.
Motivation is built by setting achievable goals and encouraging students to recognise their progress. I use clear communication with simple explanations and demonstrations to make piano techniques easy to understand. Integrity is central to my teaching as I focus on correct posture, finger placement, rhythm accuracy, and musical discipline.
Creativity is encouraged through expressive playing, exploring different music styles, and basic improvisation. Along with piano, I also teach music theory, scales, chords, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic music notation.
