I believe the most important thing is for the swimmer to feel confident and comfortable in the water. The best results come from classes where learners have copious opportunity to demonstrate the techniques being taught during the lesson, this coupled with constructive feedback is ideal.
I have taught more than 200 students, over the period of 7 years, across a range of pools in London . I have taught babies from 6 months upwards, children as well as adults. All swimmers have improved by at least level one the ASA national plan for swimming .
As a Level 2 Qualified Swimming teacher I have taught individuals to swim in accordance with the 10 stages of the National Plan for teaching swimming.

Throughout my time at Goggle & Giggle I have successfully mentored and supported colleagues in becoming ASA level 1 & 2 qualified. The opportunity has allowed me to work with children of all abilities, many of which have had special educational needs, from dyspraxia to autism.
