I tailor all of my sessions to each individual student and his/her needs. I use a variety of games and materials to create creative lessons that will provide a fun environment for the child to work towards his/her goals. My teaching approach is different for every student because it is important that speech therapy is geared towards each individual student. What works for one student may not work for another.
All sessions will be 30 minutes, meaning the rate is $15 for every half hour. Sessions are 30 minutes because I am following the minutes that school-based services typically abide by.
I am a speech-language pathologist that works in a school district in upstate NY. I have been employed by the district since September 2019. I currently work with general education and special education students in elementary school, grades K-5. Prior to working at the school district, I worked with children who needed Early Intervention services and special education preschool aged students. I work with children who have a variety of needs, including children who have articulation disorders (saying sounds correctly), expressive and receptive language delays, social/pragmatic disorders, and/or dysfluencies (stuttering).
