About Michelle
I am currently a college student at California State University, Fullerton. I started playing basketball since I was five years old and have done so ever since. I am currently an active assistant coach for the girls' Rosemead High School Basketball program. This is my first year as a coaching assistant, but I hope to remain on the coaching staff and advance myself in this profession.

I plan to be an interactive coach that motivates my students while creating a welcoming environment. I want my students to enjoy their time playing basketball. We will learn all the fundamentals thoroughly in order to become better basketball players. Students are always welcome to ask questions if they are struggling with an area that has been covered. I believe I have the ability to teach all ages because it is never too early or too late to explore activities that will bring joy. When working individually, we will focus on specific areas that best fit the student. In regards to groups, specific areas will be of focus as well, but group students will learn how to be better teammates overall. We will work on communication skills and trusting others. I will work to create an environment where all levels of skillset are welcome. The environment will be uplifting and encouraging for all students that choose me as a tutor.
