Steve Balentine is a musician from Austin Texas, who has recorded hundreds if not thousands of songs. He has been active in the electronic music scene for decades and helps teach people how to make various kinds of music as a hobby for years. After having many bad experiences with strict teachers in his youth, Steve has a very relaxed but detailed approach that concentrates on you as an individual, and not a strict by the numbers approach. This helps people who need help in one area and allows people who understand a concept to move on quickly to new ideas and lessons.

I will start by showing how to program beats and music using the computer and Abelton Live, giving step by step instructions and answering questions then we will go into the physical parts of connecting and using physical electronic instruments with Abelton. Also we will learn how to create songs using music theory and our own intuition.
These lessons are for anyone ready to start making electronic music quickly and who wants to get the tips and tricks that took years to learn at the very start so you can concentrate on the music and not reading manuals and trying to follow online non interactive guides.
