Australian classical pianist and composer with 9 years teaching experience offering lessons at home studio in Hampstead, NW32PJ

Jack is an excellent teacher, patient, clear in his explanations, and able to adapt to different styles of music, from jazz and classical to pop. He leaves helpful practice notes after each lesson, which makes it easy to focus on the right things between sessions. I really appreciate how he tailors the lessons to my preferences, helping me develop not just technique but also my overall musicality.

Highly recommended!

I've been having piano lessons with Jack for a few years now as an adult student. I feel I have developed greatly over this time, in large part due to Jack's skill and enthusiasm! He tailors our lessons to my own wishes and needs. He has introduced me to numerous composers and pieces that I wouldn't otherwise know of, but this keeps the learning interesting.

Additionally, Jack's flexibility over lesson scheduling makes keeping up with piano lessons possible as an adult learner with a full time job!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jack :)

I have been learning piano with Jack for almost 5 years. He is encouraging, enthusiastic and reliable. Jack has taught me many new practicing techniques and always has good ideas to share. He regularly introduces me to new repertoire as well as suggesting things to listen to and concerts to attend. I have no hesitation recommending Jack!

Jack is a great tutor - I have been having piano lessons with him for a few years now and would definitely recommend! He is always full of ideas for different methods to grasp difficult pieces and improve technique, and always has options of new pieces to play but is happy to be led by the students aims as well. Aside from this he’s always super flexible with lessons so it’s easy to fit them in around other commitments.

Jack is a very talented pianist, an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher and an overall positive person to be around. He has been a piano teacher for our two boys for the last two years and the boys really enjoy their lessons. Jack is extremely patient with them, punctual, always prepared for the lessons and encourages the children in a positive way. We would happily recommend Jack!

Jack is just incredible as a teacher! His piano lessons are highly engaging and he helped me reach the level I was aiming for! I was a complete beginner and now I am moving into more an intermediate level. I would recommend Jack to anyone as he has incredible expertise both in playing and composing :)
