About Baptiste
I am a French native, I came to Australia 4 years ago and have been living in Melbourne for the past 2 years. I currently study fitness (certificate IV : Personal trainer) and I am already a certified gym instructor. I studied English and Japanese for 3 years in France and have a university degree specialized in translation.

I have spent long hours practicing my Japanese with exchange student from Japan at my university in France and I would help them practice their French. I know how it feels to learn a new language as I have done it twice (for English and Japanese).
It is a frustrating and slow process but I have found the best way is through try and error. Find a topic, formulate a few ideas with the means you have and expand from there. The point is not to have it right but to make mistakes so you can learn from them.
Movies, TV shows, music are a great medium to learn because they are anchored in a context which can be used to help remember. "You shall not pass" Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings - "shall" meaning non-negotiable, for example.
