Hi guys! I'm an italian and french professional actor based in London. I give pronunciation, conversation italian and french lessons to everyone who need it. I'm friendly and positive person. And I love to give lessons with FUN, I believe that is the magic ingredient to learn quickly. We will discuss your goals and we'll start immediatly.
I mix a variety of resources, depending on what works best for you. After an initial assessment of your needs and learning preferences, I write a step-by-step plan to help you reach your goals, including revision and auto-evaluation.
I love teaching, especially languages because it is all about communication. How to express yourself and feel confident while speaking another language. Whether you are looking to pick up a bit of French for your extras, travels or you are wanting to improve for precise purposes: exams, work, projects. I am tutoring to children or adults.
My teaching method is based on the student setting their learning goals and from then, I will devise a structured approach to best achieve them. Depending on their needs -whether revision for a single test or a continued tutoring experience- I will set forward work and lessons.
I will be teaching from primary level to GCSE level French speaking , writing , language understanding , and basic french . My methodology is to be patient as french is not an easy language to grasp at first and try to make the lesson as enjoyable as possible .
My teaching method is quite chilled out, flexible and I will prepare lessons beforehand as well as go with the flow of teaching and learning. Languages are my passion and I primarily want it to be a nice experience as well as effective learning.
I can do conversations in French or Norwegian, bring support in grammar and declinations, and look at written works. I will try to speak in language that is taught as much as possible, in order to help the student to get used to hear it. I generally explain the rules orally first.
I am incredibly flexible when it comes to my lessons, and will make sure I adapt each class to the student's personal needs. Whether its learning the language from scratch, conversational practice, reading comprehension, or revising for exams. I can give French lessons to all levels, and I aim to make the lessons as fun and interesting as possible.
I have tutored students French and Latin who were studying for their GCSEs and were of various abilities. I am currently tutoring an adult learner in French pronunciation, translation and grammar by reading Hugo's Les Miserables and Zola's Nana.
I prefer to base lessons off of topics from a required textbook, or simply a list of areas the student would like to improve in. Lessons are generally a mixture of grammar points and exercises, and some speaking (conversation) practice.
I give lessons to students in Junior and Senior school. I usually try to see what the student really needs to work on to prepare my next lessons. I also don't use the same method for every student as I don't believe that one method works for everyone. In general, I try to use fun activities and games to keep the student interested in the subject.
I am a coventry university student, I study Events Management, I lived in Lebanon my whole life and I come from a french school with the french baccalaureat in hands. I love teaching because I can be proud of what this person is gonna know because of me.
In order for a language to be taught, I think that the best method is constant oral practice. What matters is to keep the attention of students on what’s fun about French while also giving them the chance to start using the language right away. Using movies, TV shows or easy reads is essential. I usually like to use visual elements as well, colors and flashcards.
All the content of my lessons is tailor-made to meet each student's specific needs and interests. I always make lessons fun and interactive so the learning is all the more enjoyable and effective. I use all kind of materials, including videos, music, articles and games to ensure there is never a boring moment.
I don't have a particular method, I tend to adapt to each student, for the simple reason that each one of them is different. I want my lessons to be perfect for each of my students, however I follow a certain program of what I teach each lesson but still based of my student personal knowledge.
Communication and active engagement with the language and the culture. As I've witnessed in high school, learning a language is often based on excessive grammar lessons and dry vocabulary learning, leading students to lose motivation and real interest for the language.
My name is Desta. Born in Bangkok, I'm British-Eritrean and I've lived in Thailand, Barbados, France, the Ivory Coast, Jordan, Belgium, Brazil, Turkey & The Philippines.
Hi there! My name is Clement, I originally come from Brittany (France) and I'm now settled in Edinburgh. If you're looking to improve your french or to start from scratch i can help you with both spoken and written language.
I am a bilingual (English and French), I grew up in Steinsoultz, France. I am looking to provide lessons and help with homework to primary school, secondary school and GCSE students. As I am Native, I have spent over 20 years of my life in France, I am well accustomed to the language and so I teach proper French, not "slang".
I always start with the lesson, trying to get to know what the kid actually does know or remind about his lesson, identify weak points as well as good points, and then I slightly lead the kid to improve his weaknesses by practicing some exercises thanks to either oral or written exercises. I approach each topic with a lot of examples, so kids will remember the rules more easily.
d d I have a different approach that the one from school in order to give the best chance of understanding, memorising and learning to my students. I always find an efficient way to re-explain knowledge and concepts which could be difficult to understand or too fast to follow during classes. I trained my students with gradual exercises, small tests as well as more complex problems.
I usually mix a bit of writing and conversation, although I do tend to prefer the latter as I think it is more effective when learning. Depending on what the student is wanting to work on, I will adapt the exercises and structure of the lesson. Each student is unique so I tend to discuss my methodology with them before starting.
My teaching method is simple, there is always a vocabulary part, a grammar part and a nicer part (geography, culture, sports...), what we learn in one session is always evaluated in the next one (more exercises, tests) I base my classes on patience, learning new things might be difficult sometimes and that's why it is important for me that the things we see in class are understood.
I teach students of all ages, from 7 to 77! My task, as a teacher, is to adapt to my students' interests and needs, to create classes they not only enjoy but which give them confidence to express themselves in a new language. I use a wide range of methods, books and supports (videos, films, podcasts, websites etc.) to make the class engaging and to give a break from grammar.
Depending on what you need, I can teach you oral or written expression, or help you to understand an oral conversation or just texts! Thanks to the class I follow at the University of Nottingham about "Teaching and learning foreign languages", I am sure we will find a way to make it fun and successful!
I am a friendly, trustworthy and patient young woman. I have mostly taught children from 12 to 16 years old but have helped a lot of my friends if they were struggling with a language. I like to get to know my students and see how they learn best (e.g. through writing, listening, speaking, etc.).
Language acquisition does not require extensive use of conscious grammatical rules, and does not require tedious drill. Acquisition requires meaningful interaction in the target language - natural communication - in which speakers are concerned not with the form of their utterances but with the messages they are conveying and understanding. ...
I like to create a space in which it is okay to make mistakes! This is extremely important for making a student comfortable. For younger learners, who perhaps do not do languages at school, I will use games, songs and other activities in order to keep interest high. I previously tutored a student for two years in GCSE French and he came away with an A*.
In Switzerland I gave English lessons to French speakers, as I am fully bilingual. I have given lessons to teenagers and adults all the same, in private or group sessions. I like to incorporate cooperative learning and the communicative approaches to any session after vocabulary, reading and/or homework revision.
I base my teaching on each individual differently, some people struggle with speaking whilst others struggle with writing, I focus with each individual on the area they need more help on. My methods include songs, movies, books, and a lot of creative writing to help increase the student's communication skills in the language.
