Singer for ten years in different fields and musical styles: solo guitar / voice (song, pop folk), groups (pop rock, electro), choir (lyrical, jazz, world) and jams (world and jazz). I am an author, composer and performer in a musical project of French song and another of English pop folk.
I continue to train myself, and the teachings that I have received in recent years as well as a practice personal practice of yoga led me to pay particular attention to the body and its role in vocalization.
It is therefore through this axis that I build my courses which are mainly intended for adults (adolescents possible from 16 years old, depending on profile).
They take place in an hour at my home or online. I also have the possibility of traveling against expenses.
Content of a typical course:
Firstly, I offer a warm-up of the whole body then more particularly of the respiratory system and different resonators. I then accompany the student through various vocal technique exercises chosen according to his objectives (find his vocal placement, increase his endurance, his range, prepare a particular piece, sing while accompanying himself on the guitar, .. .).
When the basics begin to be integrated, we can then begin the work of interpretation on a piece proposed by the student. At the end of this period, the pupil has the possibility of leaving with a recording of his work.
Why yoga?
I use techniques from yoga to explore bodily sensations when singing, strengthen the foundations and ensure proper spine alignment, ensuring better vocal technique . Yoga includes many breathing techniques that allow you to become aware of your breath, its mechanism and which can be used while singing. I also offer students relaxation and visualization tools that can help build self-confidence, especially against stage fright or even overcome blockages in learning.
Through these methods, I can also accompany people wishing to work their voice or their diaphragm, independently of the song.
The objective for me is to help the pupil to explore his voice and to progress, in a playful way and without risk for his health, in a benevolent setting in order to allow him to gain self-confidence.

J'ai pris beaucoup de cours de chant, avec une demi-douzaine de profs différents, parfois pendant plusieurs mois d'affilée.
