She have received her Advanced Theory (Harmony, History, and Rudiments), a Bachelors Degree from Simon Fraser University in Music Composition and a minor in History. Miss Sydney was accepted on the spot at Capilano University for her Diploma in Music, Major in Piano and Saxophone. She has many other certifications including: AIDT Gold Lower Tap Examination, Elementary RCM Teacher Certification, Intermediate RCM Teacher Certification, Standard First Aid, Bronze Cross, Bronze Medallion, WSI, Life Guard Candidate, and Lifeguard Saving Instructor.

Miss Sydney encourages her student’s interests and provides her students with multiple means of demonstrating their education through different learning perspectives. She specifically focuses on technique, sight-reading, and ear training as well as their repertoire and etudes. Miss Sydney provides tools for them to to excel, feel confident that they can do anything, and feels strongly that they can achieve a wonderful magnificent thing.
