About Kyle
Hi, I'm Kyle! I’m an award-winning history teacher with a passion for making history come alive. With a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s in Teaching, I’ve spent the past six years in the Bronx helping students excel in their studies and achieve high success rates on the Regents Exams—boasting a 90%+ pass rate.
I hold a Professional Teacher Certification in the state of New York, and I’ve developed easy-to-follow test prep strategies that help students feel confident and prepared. My teaching approach is unique in that I tell history like a story, connecting past events to students' lives and making complex topics accessible and engaging. Each day in my classroom is designed to captivate and engage. We begin with a quick interactive activity, followed by a lesson where I present history like a story. I encourage students to develop their own opinions about the events we analyze, promoting critical thinking and thoughtful discussion.
