About Benjamin
An alumnus of UCL and CRGS, I have eight years' experience tutoring dozens of students (1,800+ hours, one-to-one) and a year's experience in the capacity of Head of Provision/Project Manager at an alternative, independent primary school designed to re-engage learners in education (2000+ hours' experience in one-to-one and small group teaching).
My philosophy is to get as much out of life as possible - I teach, I travel, I produce music, I DJ at festivals, I coordinate events - and I believe that this passion shines through in my teaching as I aspire to help students to unlock their true potential, always aiming for the sky.
I support my students to develop a healthy sense of pride in their personal, professional and educational development while building the skills and confidence required to succeed.

At present, I specialise in Entrance Exams (11+, pre-test and 13+) and GCSE preparation and success - offering a warm, friendly and professional service with a creative edge.
First and foremost, my aim is to create a safe and supportive learning environment, grounded in openness and honesty in communication.
My approach to tutoring is rooted in building student rapport by following interests, identifying strengths, and being sensitive to needs, learning style(s), level of ability and engagement. Furthermore, I endeavour to make the effort to unveil the perspective and imagination of students as part of a meaningful tutoring service; one which stimulates learning through creative thinking to allow the student the space to discover extraordinary ideas.
