About Melodie
Hi! My name is Melodie. I am a professional tutor who teaches Piano and many other courses. I am a girl who personally LOVES playing the piano. I am currently working on the song "Colors Of The Wind". I am also writing some songs right now!! If you come to my class, I will tell you all about it!! I really love working with children and I always have. They are so smart, kind, and cute. They bring so much joy!! I believe that kids are gonna make the world a better place, and I am here to support them, teach them, and inspire them!!

My teaching method: I use direct instruction, which helps me concentrate on the student entirely, and this helps me provide help directly to fit the students' needs.
Typical Lesson Plan: To start off the classes, I begin with some rhythm and music theory slideshows. This helps the students get some background info! Then, we keep on adding new things each time. Some of the things we will be learning about: time signatures, notes, scales, rhythm, chords, etc. In normal lessons, we will review whatever song we worked on the previous lesson, then we will add a new thing that we learn about, and then we will play a fun song. After a few lessons, they are allowed to participate in a recital to show off their amazing skills.
What sets me apart as a tutor: I really get to know the kiddos and care a lot about them. I always put in a ton of time to help them understand the topic/subject. I also always make lessons to fit their personal needs.
