About Renan
I teach since the beginning of my academic life, having more than 5 years of experience as tutor and professor of Philosophy. My students, in their total age diversity, have achieved from good grades in school and university disciplines of Philosophy, Sociology, History and Literature, to admissions in vestibular or postgraduate courses in the areas of humanities.

Bachelor in Philosophy at USP, currently working on my dissertation on Philosophy and Aesthetics at USP, my History of Philosophy teaching classes, as well as its thematic areas, such as Ethics, Aesthetics, Epistemology, Logic, among others, seek to develop in the student, always through the reading of philosophical texts, an ability to interpret different discursive modalities, allowing it to take a critical word, that is, a possible rhetoric to suspend the barriers between the different discursive genres, thus opening a way for the critical debate and reflection, which are constituents of the public space itself. In this way, my classes are intended for both high school students and students of higher education of different backgrounds. Besides these, my classes are also aimed at the general public, interested in philosophy and knowledge enthusiasts who seek to give, at their own pace, the first steps in philosophical learning.
As a teacher, I seek to emphasize the development of the above mentioned abilities by reading the philosophical texts, placing the student in harmony with the diversity of discursive genres, be they texts of Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Science or Aesthetics, since the fundamental of any formation in Philosophy, as well as philosophical activity, is in the proper philosophical reading of the different texts.
