About Joshua
I have had a long history with drawing, as I loved it growing up and have developed my skills all throughout my life. I eventually moved towards using my drawing skills for animation, so after finishing highschool I completed a bachelors degree in animation at SAE Creative Media Institute, Byron Bay. This not only let me understand the principles of animation, but gave me insight into the creative industry and how to navigate as an artist in the modern world.
Beyond that I have done multiple contract jobs using those skills and am now moving to Hobart to live with my girlfriend. I am confident in finding jobs within the creative industry in this new location, and am happy to assist any other aspiring artists in this endeavour.

I have always had a passion for drawing and many other forms of artistic expression, which has developed into a wide range of skills within animation and digital art. I am an experienced 2D and 3D animator, video editor, graphic designer and illustrator, with years of various industry experience and a bachelors degree in animation under my belt.
Teaching these skills to future artists is something I am extremely passionate about. It would be an honor to be able to guide and tutor potential students towards being better artists who not only know how to use their skills to properly draw but understand the essential fundamentals of drawing.
My lessons will provide students with a deeper understanding of how to use newfound skills to express their creativity through the art of drawing. I am willing and able to teach artists of any age or skill level, and will happily teach online or in person.
