About ADEL

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Adel Bezuidenhout, I’m 43 years old and come from Jeffreys bay South Africa. I am a very proud Mother of my 21-year-old daughter that is currently studying in Cape Town South Africa. Arts and crafts are a great passion of mine and I also love reading, travelling and spending time outdoors.
Coming from I diverse multicultural country where we are taught up to three languages from early childhood, I absolutely understand the importance of bilingual language learning from a young age and have the knowledge and experience to teach and understand how to introduce English language learning in a fun productive environment. I am a fiercely passionate person and I love teaching. My teaching philosophy is to treat each little child like a seed and I will water and feed them with love and knowledge in order for them to become mighty trees.
In 2017 I went to China on holiday to visit some friends that was pursuing their careers as English teachers. I fell in love with China, the rich culture and way of life here. I then decided to move there and start a new life as a Kindergarten teacher in Chengdu Sichuan Province. In December 2021 I returned to my beloved country South Africa and am now pursuing an online teaching/tutoring career. My career as English educator has been the most fulfilling and rewarding in my entire career. In 2005 I received my Bachelor of Arts Youth Education degree at Harrison University in Washington DC. I also recently completed my advanced TEFL/TESOL 120/HR certificate.

I am so excited and thrilled to start my new journey as a online tutor and to get to know each and every student in my class, to understand every child’s individual needs and to give them all the love and patience I have for them. To learn English in a safe, fun relaxed environment with the necessary guidelines of routine and discipline. My wish is for every child to have a happy healthy life.
