About Devon
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts at University of Ottawa and I have been a studio painter since graduating in 2002. I have taught art through the FOCUS arts program at Loyalist college and have a love to teach art and the creative process.

I base my classes on focusing on the tools needed for creating abstract painting. Introducing the basics: how to prepare canvas or substrate, what paint to use and how to use it, how to achieve desired brush strokes, tools and materials overview, how to add mixed media, and most importantly how to unlock your creativity.
