About Ella
"I have 4 years of experience teaching piano and helping students build confidence through interactive and enjoyable lessons. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a focus on Piano, which has shaped my approach to teaching and musicianship. I believe learning piano should be a meaningful journey where students understand the purpose behind every skill they develop.
My lessons are personalized to match each student's goals, level, and musical interests. I focus on theory, music history, technique, creativity, and complete musicianship to help students become well-rounded performers. I have guided students from Beginner to Expert levels, supporting them through different stages of their musical growth.
I enjoy helping students connect technical exercises with real pieces and creative activities. For example, a student learning chords may also use them to create a simple composition, making the learning experience more practical. Seeing students gain confidence and enjoy their progress is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.
I create a supportive environment where students can explore music while developing strong skills. I look forward to helping you discover your musical potential and enjoy your piano journey."

"My teaching approach focuses on creating meaningful piano lessons that develop strong skills and musical confidence. I include music theory, exam preparation, history, technique, sight reading, and creative activities like composition. Lessons are designed around each student's goals, learning style, and musical interests.
I support students preparing for ABRSM, Rockschool, and A Levels by building the knowledge and skills needed for their chosen curriculum. I help students understand not only how to play pieces but also why the music works through harmony, structure, and style. For example, we may study the history behind a piece to help create a more thoughtful performance.
I also encourage creativity through improvisation, songwriting, and exploring different musical ideas. Students interested in jazz and popular music learn how to develop their own style while improving rhythm, chords, and musical expression. Every lesson includes practical exercises that connect technique with real musical situations.
My goal is to help students become confident pianists who understand music deeply and enjoy the learning process. I provide clear guidance for every level, from building strong foundations to developing advanced performance skills. Together, we can strengthen your musicianship and help you achieve your piano goals."
