"Grade exam prep, scales, arpeggios, ear training, posture, hand position, accompaniment, hand independence, pop, contemporary, jazz improvisation, pedalling, dynamics, and expression are the pillars of my instruction. True progress often hides in the details that seem the most mundane to a beginner.
Having taught 62 students, I leverage my Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance to show that piano technique is a physical extension of the body. My 5 years of professional work help me connect these concepts for students at any level. I find the process of refining a piece to be a peaceful, meditative experience."

"Starting with a free trial lesson to map out goals allows us to build a structure that actually works. Because I hold a degree from the Royal College of Music, I balance classical rigour with the spontaneity of jazz or modern pop improvisation. You get 9.0 level instruction in technique.
