About Yasmin
My name is Yasmin and I am a university student, studying to get my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science degree. I am working towards my goal of going to medical school and being able to help people every day. Outside of school, I enjoy playing the piano, cooking and baking, volunteering, and travel. In fact, I love volunteering and travel so much, that I participate in Medical Brigades, where a team of volunteers go to countries in need of medical services. I love working with different people, and I truly enjoy making new connections. Teaching has always been my passion, and I would be grateful to have the chance to teach you!

I focus on making sure students really understand the material, not just memorize it. I use clear explanations, examples, and practice problems to help students learn in a way that makes sense to them. Each lesson starts by checking what the student already knows. This helps me see where they might need extra help, so I can focus on the right areas. A typical lesson includes reviewing homework, explaining tricky topics, and practicing questions together. I make sure students feel confident before moving on. What makes me different is my experience and patience. I've been tutoring since grade 9 and adjust my teaching style to fit each student’s needs. I teach chemistry, biology, physics, and math to students from elementary school up to grade 12. My lessons are for anyone who needs help with schoolwork or wants to prepare for tests.
