About Given
Hello future students,
My name is Nethavhani Given, and I am passionate about learning, growth, and meaningful conversations. I come from a background in the social sciences, where I have learned to think critically, analyze deeply, and communicate ideas clearly.
I am interested in teaching because education has been transformative in my own life. Access to knowledge has shaped who I am, strengthened my confidence, and opened opportunities for me. Teaching allows me to give that same opportunity to others — to help students not only understand their subjects, but also believe in their ability to succeed.
I do not see teaching as simply delivering information. I see it as guiding, supporting, and creating a space where questions are welcomed and mistakes are part of growth. My goal is to help you feel capable, confident, and curious.

With my background in the social sciences, I teach students not just what to think, but how to think — how to analyze, question, and articulate ideas with clarity and confidence. I pay close attention to each student’s learning style and adapt my explanations accordingly, ensuring that complex concepts become accessible and relatable.
What makes my lessons unique is the balance between structure and empathy. I create an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and genuinely understood. Learning, in my classroom, is not about memorizing information — it is about building confidence, independence, and intellectual curiosity.
